My name is Jamie and I am a Canadian native English speaker. I completed my Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

During my secondary school years, I obtained:

- a final year grade average of 96%,

- 2310/2400 on the SAT (99th percentile)

- 8.5/9 on IELTS (99th percentile)

- perfect scores of 5 on various AP subjects, including English Language and Composition.

As a result, I received offers to study law and global business from esteemed institutions such as HKU, CUHK, HKUST, and other UK universities.

Throughout my educational journey, I actively engaged in extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership skills as the Student Body President in secondary school. I was honored to receive numerous scholarships and awards both during my secondary school years and university studies.

For approximately 7 years, I have maintained a consistent tutoring practice focused specifically on English, catering to both international school and local school students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12. My approach is characterized by patience, support, and a constant encouragement for students to challenge themselves. I firmly believe in the significance of working smart in addition to working hard, and to facilitate that, I carefully evaluate each student and identify specific key problem areas they should focus on to learn efficiently. During our sessions, I will provide a variety of resources, including notes, exercises, and valuable tips. Moreover, I am available for assistance outside of class if students require further help.
